    Bank Robbery On November 8, 2012, at 1019 Officers from the Grand Rapids Police Department responded to the report of a bank robbery at the 5/3 bank located at 2465 Burton St. SE. Witnesses state the suspect, a light skinned black male, 55-58, 18-20 years old, medium build wearing a black hooded jacket and black pants, and also wearing a multi-colored bandana on his head, entered the bank, implied he had a weapon and demanded money. The suspect then fled the bank on foot, after obtaining an undisclosed amount of money. A Canine track was attempted, but was unsuccessful. The Grand Rapids Police Department Major Case Team and the FBI are investigating this robbery. Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call police at 456-3604 or Silent Observer at 774-2345. Silent Observer can also be contacted anonymously at www.silentobserver.org.
