 The Astros nished in 6th place in the NL Central Divisionwith a 55-107 record...HOU was 35-46 at home and 20-61 on the road...2012marked the 6th time in the last 21 seasons that the Astros have nishedwith a record below .500.
GOLDEN ANNIVERSARY:
In 2012, the Astros celebrated the 50th anniversary o the ranchise, which began play in 1962...throughout the 2012 season, theAstros recognized their Golden Anniversary in a variety o ways, includingalumni rst pitches, retro uniorms, the selection o an All-Time Astros25-man Roster and with a Legends Weekend in September which markedthe return o dozens o ormer Astros and Colt .45s players.

2012 marked the Astros nal season as a NL team, as theclub will make an historic move to the AL in 2013...in 51 seasons as a NLclub, Houston posted a 3,999-4,134 (.492) record, which ranked 8th in NLin that span, while qualiying or the postseason nine times and winningthe NL Pennant in 2005...
CUBS CONNECtION:
The Houston ranchise beganNL play in 1962 with a 3-game sweep vs. the Cubs at Colt Stadium, April10-12, 1962, and wrapped up play as an NL club by taking two o threerom the Cubs at Wrigley Field, October 1-3, 2012.
hIStORIC MOVE tO thE AL:
