Description

Dr. Belyaev comes from the exquisite Soviet scientific tradition that originated the study of the medical effects of electromagnetic fields. As a nation of workers, the Soviet Union was extremely careful in setting its public standard of environmental exposure to electromagnetic fields. Aware of the fact that this was a potential health problem that could hurt or kill millions, it is not amazing to see how American standards on this respect were historically set up by a veterinarian working for the Tri-Service (the Army, Navy and Air Force) Program and not by a physician. Since its origins, western standards have been subject to the hidden agendas of the military or giant corporations that exhibit double morals when they have to weigh the protection of the public agains their economical interests. Society always looses no matter what the medical evidence can be.
