Anyone who is snatched from the Fire and shown into theGarden will have triumphed. What does worldly life mean except the enjoymentof illusion?God has knowledge about the ‘instance’. He sends down showers and knowswhatever wombs contain. Yet no person knows what he will earn tomorrow, nor does any person know in what land he will die. However, for a momin/momina this life is like a prison and he/shealways desires for transferring to his/her eternal residence where a luxurious lifewith countless bounties and blessings have been guaranteed, but moreimportantly an eternal proximity to Masomeenasws is the reality, which makes amomin restless and he craves to leave this world without any delay.1 Nahjul Asrar, referene, Usool-e-Kafi, vol, 1, chapter 20.’1
 
www.hubeali.comDeath is Good News for a Momin: هئ  ،داا ر أ  ،هأ  ،را   ا  ،ا ا  أ  ،راث أ  ،ط را ى : ،ا  ف :ا ه ؤا ر ل : ا أ  ت  ، رأو ليتو يت إو ،ا باذ ةش إو ،ا  ةش إ :ه دري اأو ،ا باذ رشا   فا نو أو ،ا  رشا  نر طا و  ، قرا را هتي ،ه هإ وؤي  ي  هن ى را ؤا  ه  ي  ذا رأ اا ت و ا أو ا ، ب ن ا  ه ري   ئا  ل و  ا هي   ث ،  و  فأ ئث باذ  إ  هت   را   لو ا  اورغت · A person requested Amir-ul-momaneenasws to explain implications of death, Imamasws replied: A person would encounter one of three scenariosafter death, either he gets good news about eternal blessings and peace,or is given bad news for everlasting punishment or (the third one) remainsin grief and fear without being informed about his fate in the hereafterwithoutknowing which category he belongs to (Kafir or momin). Our devout follower will get the good news for eternal bounties but our enemywill be told only about his never ending punishment. The one who will notbe told about his fate will be that ‘Momin’ who had polluted his/her soulwith Allahazwj’s forbidden deeds and will be in doubt about his future andwill perceive terrible outcome after getting ambiguous and fearfulmessages. Allahazwj will not put him together with our enemies but willrelease him from hell fire through our intersession. Thus, O my followers,keep on doing good deeds, obey Allahazwj, and do not become carelessthrough self-reliance (on your deeds). Do not underestimate Allahazwj’swrath because there will be some among third category sinner ‘musarfeen’(who were careless) who will not get our intercession and will get threehundred thousand years’ punishment in the hell prior to being pardoned.2· Imam Mohammed Taqiasws was asked why people do not like to die?Imamasws replied because they are unaware of reality of death and itsbounties. Surely, they will like it if they are true believers and obey Allahazwjand would recognise life in the hereafter is far better than what they areused to (in this world). They may be exemplifying by such a child or aninsane person who would not like to take a medicine, although it is goingto cure his illness and provide him comfort. If they knew how much better off they will be in the hereafter they would certainly wish to die, their desirewould be more intense as compared with that patient who is desperate for health and life.3Momin Dies from Various Causes but Never Commits Suicide:ه) ر   : ن  ،  يو  ،ا  ،ا    ،ىي     إ :  ؟اذ ب و اذ ب و صر و ماذ   ي  ؤ ا إ :  ةري ا إ :(ا لهن لي  هنأ إ  ل يو  ل ي ؤا إ : ث -  هنإ ي .· I enquired from Imam Abu Jafarasws that Mughairah says : The believer isneither tested with the leprosy (juzaam) nor with the vitiligo (phool berri)nor by such and such? And do not initiate his extraction of soul,until the believer agrees to go to heavens with him.6  ، ها ن هو ا مري أ رأ   اإ لو  ا إ : (ا ه) ر أ أ رأ   اإو : ،نذا ذ ه ا ه د  ه لي    ها ه  لي ه  ه  لي    ،ز  ه و  ه لي   ،هن ح   هو ا ي ا  ه ا· It is narrated from Imam Mohammed Baqirasws, If Allahazwj wants to raiseHis servant’s status in the hereafter who has committed some sins in hislife, Allahazwj makes him either ill in this world or let him suffer from the lackof resources, or, instead will make death more painful for him. Allahazwjdoes this to eradicate His servant’s sins so he is raised in the hereafter without any burden of sins.
