Dear Colleagues:In 2010, House Republicans won back the majority with the help of our 87 freshmenand went to work to grow our economy and get America back on track. Last week—due to your hard work and the leadership of Chairman Pete Sessions and our team atthe NRCC—we locked into place most of the historic gains we made in the House in2010.But we also came up short in some key races and have important lessons to learnfrom our losses as we go forward into 2014. We need to build on the Patriot program as it has helped us eachcycle re-elect valuable members and stay on offense. We recruited a solid and diverse group of candidates into our Young Guns program, and you helped us raise more than $8.5 million for them.We locked in many of our 2010 gains through redistricting, making 109 Republican
