Genre
The genre of my music magazine will be RnB. This is because RnB is the genre of music I know the most about and is also the genre I listen to the most. I feel that because I have an interest in this genre of music already it would enable me to create a good music magazine.

Audience
o The gender of my target audience will be females. I have chosen my magazine to target only females as I feel the topics I speak about will interest female audiences more than male. However that is me being stereotypical, this is the 21st century; males may be able to relate to my magazines topics. Also because I am a female I believe that my magazine will benefit from this as I will be able to include articles with topics that I know girls would be interested in e.g. where the artists purchase their clothes from. o Secondly, the age range for my magazine is aged 15 to age 23. When people hit age 15 they normally start listening to a lot more music, as they start going to parties and gigs, and then when they get to the age 17/18, they will regularly go to clubs and bars and also music festivals. o Last but not least, the social class of my magazine is BC1. This is middle class and lower middle class people. I have chosen this particular social class as this is what most music magazines come under because of the pricing of the magazine. Also, they are the social class that are more likely to listen to RnB music and know about RnB artists.

Institutions
I will be using the publishing house Prometheus Global Media. This is a popular American company that produces entertainment magazines. As my magazine is a music magazine, which is a source of entertainment this should be a perfect publishing house for my magazine.

Representations
As the genre of my music magazine is RnB I'm am going to style my model so that they fit with the genre. I am going to do this by dressing them in clothes that are representational of this genre, for example, high wasted shorts, disco pants, bandeaus, Aztec style tops, crop tops, high heels and also flat shoes like converse and vans. Also, my model will use particular facial expressions and body language depending on the tone of their article. For example, if the article is talking about success, then the model will have happy facial expression and positive body language, e.g. jumping in the air.
