Where Im from

By: Liam Blok

I am from crazy cousins and a wacko brother, From injuries that often leave scars. I am from sneaking around unheard to be alone, From having six servings at every chance. I am from tuna fish sandwiches and oatmeal, From Rangers Apprentice at 5 AM. I am from riding glistening waves and steep climbs, From sword fighting and messing with Lego. I am from making models and paper planes, From boating over liquid crystal. I am from football finals and groundwork, and throwing in the dojo. I am from fire burn rock and Blok Marine Construction From icy peaks and hot shrub lands. I am from tropical forests and waterfalls, From sandy beaches and muddy trails I am from a place with no internet where Earl thrashed us. From the sea and my corner on the sofa. I am from Sophie bay and Luck hill, From Strop waffles and Dutch cheese. My memories are trophies of victories past. Scars of curiosity. Snapshots of my travels. Random moments of my life. The good and the bad the sweat of work and the sweat of fun.
