1. PRESENTATION
The Aimpoint 3XMag Magnifying Modle can be sed inconjnction with most Aimpoint sights for long-range aiming, alternatively whenever the sitation needs closer or moredetailed aiming capability. The 3XMag can also be sed as ahand-held 3X observation device. The 3XMag has no reticle itself bt ses the red dot in theAimpoint sight as the aiming reticle, ths eliminating the
need for re-zeroing when shifting from non-magnied tomagnied aiming and vice versa.
The 3XMag is rbber covered for increased protection fromshock as well as an ergonomic grip when sed as a mon-oclar. For qick attachment and release, we recommendthe se of the Aimpoint TwistMont.

3. OPERATION uNDER NORMAL uSE
WARNING:
Ensre that the weapon is nloaded, the safetyselector is in the “safe” position, and the weapon is pointedin a safe direction before attempting to install, remove or per-form maintenance on the 3XMag – other than attaching anddetaching it nder normal se.
3.1 PREPARATION FOR uSE
The 3XMag can be monted on the rail of the weapon inthree different ways:
- PRIMARY:
by means of a ring attached to the front 30 mmdiameter tbe, for example the Aimpoint TwistMont(see pictre nder chapter 3.2)
- OPTION 1:
se the rear 30 mm diameter tbe in conjnc-tion with the front tbe
- OPTION 2:
se the for M3 screw holes on the bottomsrface for cstom monting hardwareIn order to se the 30 mm diameter tbe(s), the rbber
covering that surface must rst be removed. Remove rubber from the front tube as shown in g. 2 below when Twist
-Mont or one ring is sed (most common). Remove rbber
from both tubes as shown in g. 3 when both tubes are
sed. use a sharp knife and careflly ct throgh the rbber along the circmferential groove making sre not to ct intothe metal body.If the lower for screw holes are sed for monting, the rbber doesn’t need to be removed.
