A public hearing to consider an amendment to the Code of the Town of Niskayuna that would allow a veteran, the spouse of the veteran or unremarried surviving spouse already receiving an exemption pursuant to Real Property Tax Law section 458-a, as adopted by the Town in section 197-5 of the Code of the Town of Niskayuna, to transfer the exemption to another property purchased within the Town. b. MOTION TO ADJOURN

Resolution No. 2012-246 A RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT AN EASEMENT AT THE MOHAWK GOLF CLUB The following resolution was offered by Councilwoman McGraw who moved its adoption, and seconded by BE IT ENACTED, by the Town Board of the Town of Niskayuna, as follows: WHEREAS, the Superintendent of Water and Sewer has recommended that the Town obtain an easement from the Mohawk Golf Club for the purpose of installing, constructing and maintaining thereon a gas powered auxiliary pump station generator and all necessary appurtenances located adjacent to a Town of Niskayuna wastewater pump station located at 1088 Balltown Road, and WHEREAS, The Mohawk Golf Club has offered the Town an easement for this purpose, and WHEREAS, the Public Works Committee has recommended the acceptance of this easement. NOW THEREFORE, be it RESOLVED, that this Town Board does hereby accept an easement from The Mohawk Golf Club of 1849 Union Street, Niskayuna, New York 12309, a copy of such easement annexed hereto.

Resolution No. 2012-247 A RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT AN EASEMENT AT THE MOHAWK GOLF CLUB The following resolution was offered by Councilwoman McGraw who moved its adoption, and seconded by BE IT ENACTED, by the Town Board of the Town of Niskayuna, as follows: WHEREAS, the Superintendent of Water and Sewer and Superintendent of Highways has recommended that the Town obtain a temporary easement from the Mohawk Golf Club for the purpose of performing maintenance work on the stormwater detention/collection pond that is adjacent to the Mohawk Golf Club Clubhouse in front of the 10th tee that collects stormwater from the North Country Club Drive, South Country Club Drive, Millington Road, Highland Park Road and Mayfair Road residential area, and WHEREAS, The Mohawk Golf Club has offered the Town a temporary easement for this purpose, and WHEREAS, the Public Works Committee has recommended the acceptance of this easement. NOW THEREFORE, be it RESOLVED, that this Town Board does hereby accept a temporary easement from The Mohawk Golf Club of 1849 Union Street, Niskayuna, New York 12309, a copy of such easement annexed hereto.

Resolution No. 2012-248 A RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT AN EASEMENT AT THE MOHAWK GOLF CLUB The following resolution was offered by Councilwoman McGraw who moved its adoption, and seconded by BE IT ENACTED, by the Town Board of the Town of Niskayuna, as follows: WHEREAS, the Superintendent of Water and Sewer has recommended that the Town obtain an easement from the Mohawk Golf Club for the purpose of installing, constructing and maintaining thereon a stormwater detention pond and all necessary appurtenances in front of the 14th hole tee, and WHEREAS, The Mohawk Golf Club has offered the Town an easement for this purpose, and WHEREAS, the Public Works Committee has recommended the acceptance of this easement. NOW THEREFORE, be it RESOLVED, that this Town Board does hereby accept an easement from The Mohawk Golf Club of 1849 Union Street, Niskayuna, New York 12309, a copy of such easement annexed hereto.

Resolution No. 2012-249 A RESOLUTION REGARDING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A GIFT TO CONSTRUCT A SIDEWALK ALONG CONSAUL ROAD The following resolution was offered by Councilwoman McGraw who moved its adoption, and seconded by BE IT ENACTED, by the Town Board of the Town of Niskayuna as follows: WHEREAS, the Hummingbird Manor Homeowners Association, Inc. approached the Town to construct a sidewalk along Consaul Road west from Oakmont Street to connect with an existing sidewalk coming east from Balltown Road, and WHEREAS, the Hummingbird Manor Homeowners Association, Inc. will provide a gift to the Town to cover the costs of materials associated with the sidewalks construction, and WHEREAS, the Transportation and Public Facilities Committee and the Finance and General Government Committee recommend acceptance of this gift. NOW THEREFORE, be it hereby RESOLVED, that this Town Board does hereby accept a gift in the amount of $5,423.00 from the Hummingbird Manor Homeowners Association, Inc. for use solely to construct a sidewalk along Consaul Road west from Oakmont Street to connect with an existing sidewalk coming east from Balltown Road, and be it FURTHER RESOLVED, that this Town Board does hereby authorize the Supervisor to execute any documents necessary for the acceptance of the gift from the Hummingbird Manor Homeowners Association, Inc.
