Description

This is an amended complaint for Case No. 08-018537-cz filed in Wayne County (MI) 3rd Judicial District Court by Plaintiff Lisa Wood. This first amended version of the complaint removes several original Defendants and instead names as Defendants Little Caesar Enterprises, Inc., Michael Ilitch, Jimmy Shemami, Ilitch Holdings, Inc. and Richard Fenton.

Shemami is the son of Najib Shemami, the Detroit area businessman who recently admitted, after nearly 21 months in custody, that he was a spy for the government of former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein.

The amended complaint alleges breach of contract, conspiracy and negligence among five total counts. Plaintiff alleges Shemami was part of the Ilitch family's security detail, specifically working for the Ilitch's oldest son Ronald Ilitch and that Defendants located and destroyed executed contracts belonging to Plaintiff following an Aug. 2004 assault & battery incident in which Ron Ilitch beat the Plaintiff and she called Troy Police to their home. At that time Plaintiff was Ron Ilitch's girlfriend and living with him in his home.
