students should alight from the right side of their vehicle. The driver should then move off, clearing the space for other vehicles dropping off students. Under no circumstancesshould a student be dropped off from the outside lane. Thisis dangerous as the student would need to walk across thefront of another vehicle.
Drivers, Helpers and Bodyguards
Drivers, helpers and bodyguardsshould not be waiting on campus for stu-dents throughout the school day. After drop-ping off students they should exit the schoolgrounds and not return more than 30 min-utes before pick up time. Those who repeat-edly fail to comply with the regulation willhave their access privilege suspended.Only those vehicles carrying parents or other peo-ple with business within the school will be allowed to returnto the campus before 1:45 p.m.There are designated areas for unaccompanieddrivers, yayas, helpers and security escorts to wait for par-ents and students. Unless specifically authorized, they maynot enter any other area. In the interest of security, and toprevent congestion at the pedestrian entrances to the cov-ered parking area, parents are requested to emphasize totheir employees the importance of cooperating with the se-curity staff and remaining in the appropriate areas.Drivers should be aware that parking on any of theroads around the school is against traffic regulations andpresents a security risk. As such, the ISM Guard Force willbe cooperating with the Bonifacio authorities to prevent this.
Firearms
All members of the ISM community are remindedthat it is strictly forbidden for firearms to be brought onto thecampus. This includes concealed weapons carried by body-guards for close protection. In the event that anybody shouldarrive at the school with a firearm, they should inform thegate guard and arrangements will be made for the weaponto be safely and securely stored during the visitor’s stay.
Termination of Employment
In the event of the termination of service of a familyemployee, parents are asked to secure the former em-ployee’s ISM ID card and return it to the Security office. If this is not possible, it is important that the Security Office isstill informed of the change of circumstances. Finally, I would like to thank all members of the ISMcommunity for their cooperation in helping us maintain ISMas a safe and secure environment for our children.Mike Flynn,Director of Operations & Security
