About tHE ARtISt:
 Janie Trouche was born in Biringha, Alabaa,and spent her childhood in St. Petersburg, Florida and Colubia, South Carolina. She is arried to a natieCharlestonian and has lied in Charleston for oer 30 years. Janie attended Sale College and graduated fro the Uniersity of North Carolina at Chapel Hillwith a bachelor’s degree in Art History. Janie has studied with any local artists, is an exhibiting eber of theCharleston Artist Guild, as well as a juried eber of OilPainters of Aerica. She has exhibited in nuerous showsand has won seeral awards. Artist Stateent:“Working priarily in the studio, but also plein aire, I paint ainly landscapes of the Lowcountry, ountains,and places I hae traeled.
