The Employer/Business Leader of the Year Awards will be honouring above par leadership in the workplace, where excellence has been maintained, unwaveringly, as the standard through and beyond the economic crisis faced by the country. These will be held tomorrow during a gala dinner at the Royal Swazi.

This awards ceremony comes at a time when Swaziland is faced Times Newspaper with real challenges from which will arise policies that will change and refine the direction of the Media News country since the 1970s economic reforms under King Sobhuza II. To ensure this, all participating companies were comprehensively researched by an independent consultant company, Empowered Intellectuals. There will be winners for each category rec-ognising particularly excellent departments for participating companies. The grand awards, however, will recognise the top three companies that exhibit excellent crossfunctional or interdepartmental performance levels. Two speeches will be presented at the awards that will give an overview of the business environment in the country. Dr Greg Mills, Director of the Brenthurst Foundation, will be speaking on national competitiveness and expounding on the avenues available to Swaziland for maximising its productive potential, and innovating in industry where our competitive advantages are already being exploited for national economic gain. His Excellency the Prime Minister will deliver the keynote address, recognising the winners for the night and reinforcing the call to action for all stakeholders in the business community to work together on the national goal of higher economic performance.
