Also stars Joanna Page and Jessica Hynes. Fans of the original Nativity, released in 2009, will need no further encouragement to catch Debbie Isitts joyful and hilarious new movie, developed with Isitts trademark improvisational style that has delighted audiences in the past and looks certain to do so again.

Colin Firth turns on the charm in this comedy caper, scripted by Joel and Ethan Coen. He plays art expert Harry Deane who teams up with Texas rodeo queen PJ Puznowski (Cameron Diaz) to con his horrible boss into buying a fake Monet. It has all the makings of a great underdog story, with a terric supporting cast that includes Alan Rickman, Stanley Tucci and Tom Courtenay. The lm itself is a re-telling of a 1966 Michael Caine and Shirley MacLaine hit. One man who got a ticket to the London premiere of that lm, evidently enjoying the experience, was Mike Lobell who has now produced this new version. Even without that 46 year gap its been a torturous 14 year journey to the screen, but with all the elements in place and leading man Firth now an Oscar winner to boot it looks like it was worth the wait.
