Throughout this time he has guided some of the nation’s top offenses. His Offenses have been nationally ranked in nearly every offensive category. Emendorfer has been the Head Football Coach at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville since 1999. During that time, UWP has been the topped ranked passing offense in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. In 2001 the Pioneers led the NCAA Division III in Passing Offense averaging 359 yards per game. In his short tenure at UW-Platteville, his passing attack has led the conference in passing each year and has produced two All-Conference quarterback and six all- conference wide receivers, with one also being honored as a Division Ill All-American, Emendorfer formerly was the Offensive Coordinator at Hanover College, IN. While at Hanover, Emendorfer’s offense produced three NCAA Division III All-American quarterbacks, three Division II] All-American wide receivers and was ranked among the top three in the nation six times and led the nation twice. Andy Mitchel is the ottensive Coordinator at Simpson College. In his first year, the Storm finished 9-1 and was a national playoff participant. The Storm finished the 2003 season ranked #7 in NCAA Division III Passing Offense averaging 323 yards per game. In 2003 Simpson had 5 All-Conference players on Offense, including two offensive linemen, two wide receivers and one quarterback, with the quarterback and one receiver being honored as Division III All- Americans. Previously, Mitchel coached wide receivers for three years at UW-Platteville and was the Passing Coordinator for two. During that time UWP was one of the top ranked passing offenses in the nation. Andy is a former player of co-author Mike Emendorfer’s at Hanover College. Andy played four years at receiver, starting for three, on Hanover teams that were 35-5 during the regular season and made two NCAA playoff appearances. Andy was a three-time All-Conference performer and All-American in his senjor year. He ranks in the school's top 10 in receptions.
