Being a collector of Vogue magazine, I found that this months issue widely focused on the music industry in particular

within the pop genre. The issue explores upcoming new artists and successful bands within the UK industry; while also looking back on iconic singers and musicians that have dominated the charts.

The main theme for this issue was Vogue goes pop, which is highlighted throughout the magazine. They have used masses amount of colour on this page to deliver the vibrancy of the pop industry. This colourful theme is included through the magazine.

Rita Ora is one of the newest established pop, R&B singers at the moment, who released her debut album called Ora this year. She has been credited by Vogue as being the perfect pop star for 2012

Another page from Vogue which showcases the many talents from the pop industry- from the likes of Michael Jackson to the Beatles; it pays tribute to all the people who have contributed to the music industry.

Here we have Mick Jagger, in an article which explains how pop formed in London, and how they were inspired by the American music industry.

Vogue also includes the addition of One Direction, a boy band who rose to fame on X Factor and have since gained recognition for their debut album.

Alexandra Shulman, who is the editor of UKs Vogue magazine, uses her editors letter to discuss her favourite musicians and the ones to listen to.

Vogue also takes a look back at musicians who have appeared on the Vogue cover, for instance Adele, Rihanna and Lana Del Ray etc
