Task 1.

Question: 1.What is the purpose of student portfolios? I think the purpose of the online E-Portfolio is to have an only album that is kept through the whole of myp that I would keep work, grades, findings and things that Ive learnt. The importance of an E-Portfolio is that it is not so scrappy like the folders in primary and it is a bio way of paper by keeping all our work in a neat little website without wasting the trees and paper. 2.What is an E-Portfolio? An E-Portfolio is basically like an online photo album with a lot more. It Is an album that you keep all your work, grades, findings and learnings in over the years of MYP.You have different pages for different classes and have a blog for things like introductions, cool things and bad things so forth. The E-Portfolio is a neat and organized online album that all teachers may access. 3.What are the advantages / disadvantages of e-portfolios vs traditional portfolios? The advantages of having an E-Portfolio are as follows: There is no waste of paper It is very organized in pages and blogs You dont have scrap papers lying around It is neat, easily accessible and is bio friendly

The disadvantages of an E-portfolio are as follows: They are time consuming to upload a document etc They don't usually allow to have paper and written works imbedded in them They can be fiddly and easily out of date. 4.Who will read your portfolio? The people who will read me E-portfolio are most probably going to only be myself and Mrs. Carter. I am not quite sure that my other subject teachers will have access, if they do I definitely think they will look at my work.

Task 2.
My E-portfolio does not resemble these websites because mine is clear, there are only a couple fonts and there are no animations.I picked website 1,3 and 6. Problems with the first website is that there are too many animations, you should have at most 1 animation. The background is too sophisticated,it could be a plain colour, there are too many fonts and colours, less fonts and sticking to two or less colours. Bad and flashy ads, don't upload at all, if you were to download, download something based on the topic. And there is basically too much movement, the background flashes the title moves and there is lots of ads. Where are the problems for #3 and #6?

Task 3.

The good things about website 1 is that there are good and matching colours, good titles, and great, legible words and there is little movement in the whole thing. The things that I liked about website two is that it well organized, it has good pictures, it has a video descripting something, great colours and great fonts and neat pages.

I think the attributes of the last website that make it great is that it is well organized, it has great pictures based on the topic, its got a page for the current season and it has good fonts, good plain background and its got videos for recipes of old or young chefs over england.

Task 4.
I Think for my e-portfolio I could have more detailed pictures, better fonts and colors, finer backgrounds and maybe including one moving picture or text. I want to make any viewer entertained with neat pages, good pictures and good old fonts.
