Everyone attending this conference is involved in some type of invasive species work and we want to know whatyou’re doing! One of the goals of the RRIP-IT-UP project is to increase communication and collaboration among allthe individuals and groups working on invasive species issues in the Upper Peninsula. We will accept all types of displays from those that have been professionally developed by federal and state agencies to a simple poster puttogether by an individual landowner who is doing work on private property. No poster is too small! Sharing oursuccesses (and failures) will help all of us save valuable time and resources that can then be devoted to moreinvasive plant work.We will accept displays that are self-supporting (floor or table-top), and there will also be space to lay posters ontables. The display area will be open at 8 am the day of the conference, so please plan to arrive in time to set up yourdisplay before the conference begins. If you don’t have enough material to put together a poster, there will also be anempty display board where you can place materials (pictures, handouts, etc) that you have developed or discoveredand want to share. If you have any questions about the displays and posters, please contact Darcy Rutkowski (906-225-0215, darcy.rutkowski@uprcd.org), Stephanie Blumer (906-643-7900 x155, sblumer@fs.fed.us), or Tesha Zimmerman (906-632-5575, tzimmerman@saulttribe.net).
