Becoming a Member:1.Come to a meeting and write your name on the sign-up sheet
2.
Have a parent/guardian to sign the permission slip3.If you’d like to become an official member, you have to pay“International Dues” which costs $11. Where does your money go?Here’s an official breakdown:
Key Club Magazine 31.51%
Literature & General Meetings 20.96%
Membership forms, cards, stationary, & copying 18.65%
International Training Conferences 12.75%
Convention planning, promotions, & site selection 5.63%
Alumni Development 4.45%
Major Emphasis Program 4.15%
Club & District awards, scholarships, & YOF 1.86%
Staff Assistance 0.04%

To make the
early bird
date(and help the club), pay your international dues by
OCTOBER 7, 2008.
The deadline for International dues is
OCTOBER 21, 2008

Bottom line: If you don’t pay your dues ON TIME, you are notconsidered a Kiwanis International member & you will notparticipate in the initiation ceremony. HOWEVER, your name will stillbe listed on our Key Club roster & you are free to participate in anyKey Club events.Monthly Dues:
1.
You are obligated to pay $2 every month. These dues go into theclub account. This money is used for fundraisers, service projects,and snacks.
2.
You can pay all club dues up front ($16) OR pay $2 every month. Ifyou choose to pay up front, you will get one month off and alollipop.
3.
UNPAID MONTHLY DUES ROLL OVER. Failure to pay monthly duesresults in a written warning (1
st
offense) and then a nomination totake your name off the roster (2
nd
offense)Money Policies:1.all money must be directly turned in to Mr. Covey during themeeting or at North Point.2.Outside fundraising is due by the next school day
