I have taken inspiration for part of my music video, from the music video for Why by Annie Lennox.

In the video she sits in front of a mirror and does her make up and gets ready. There are lots of close up shots of her face, and extreme close ups shots of her lips and eyes etc. I would like to film the parts of my video where the girl is getting ready for the photo shoot very similarly to the Annie Lennox video . However differently to the Annie Lennox video, I would like to use more high key lighting in the scenes where the girl is getting ready, to symbolise her new beginning and her happiness at her new life, in contrast to the low key lighting of the shots where I will be showing the boy playing guitar and being depressed about losing her.
