A333 Pipe Specifications
A/SA333 NPS 1/4" - 24"Schedules 10 through 160, STD,XH and XXH
This specification covers nominal (average) wall seamless and welded carbon andalloy steel pipe intended for use at low temperatures. Several grades of ferriticsteel are included. Some product sizes may not be available under thisspecification because heavier wall thicknesses have an adverse affect on low-temperature impact properties.
The pipe shall be made by the seamless or welding process with the addition of nofiller metal in the welding operation.
All seamless and welded pipe shall be treated to control their microstructure by thefollowing methods:Normalizing per A 333/A 333M-05 section 188.8.131.52; section 184.108.40.206 or section220.127.116.11Quenched and Tempered per A 333/A 333M - 05 section 18.104.22.168Double Normalized and Tempered per A 333/A 333M - 05 section 22.214.171.124

However, the addition of elementsrequired for the deoxidation of the steel is permitted.
