Venue:
There have been a number of venues suggested across the country. The event will be
hosted out of a Melbourne venue. There will be an effort to establish groups around
Australia for participants to meet locally to participant in the conference; and to
provide a social element.

The event will still be streamed live with live interactivity. There has been some
additional development of the online application used in 2008 that means others can
also participate more directly.

The Program:
The following headings for sessions are suggested:

• Campaign website design

• Writing for the web (including writing email action alerts)
• Organizing online
• Using social media for campaigning
• Electronic Civil Disobedience

Guest Speakers:
Last year's conference had Colin Jacobs as a guest speaker to talk about the
Government's clean feed filtering (aka Internet censorship) scheme. Who should be
approached to be a guest speaker? How many guest speakers should there be and
which particular topics would they cover?
