LPG (Regulation of Supply and Distribution) Order 2000
is order was issued under the Essential Commodities Act 1955. Under this order LPG andPetroleum products are noti
ed as essential commodities which must be made available for publicwithout any delay, and prohibits black marketing and any kind of misuse.
Marketing Discipline Guidelines 2000
is document describes major and minor penalties with proposed penal actions.
Distributorship Agreement
is agreement displays the terms and conditions which must be complied by the LPGDistributors during their distributorship. In case of violation Indian Oil Corporation can penalisemonetarily and / or terminate licence of Distributor to operate LPG Distributorship. Sellingunderweight cylinders, not attendance or booking over the phone, rude behaviour, forced sales of LPG equipment at the time of new connection, not delivering at customer's premises areviolations of various legislations enacted by Government of India and Marketing DisciplineGuidelines prepared and enforced by Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.

cer and / or register a complaint, mention the irregularity customer hasfound out major or minor as per Marketing Discipline Guidelines 2000, take complaintnumber, call again after few days and ask what action has been taken against distributor.C. If Field O
cer does not reply properly, does not take any action or does not pick upphone then take matter to Regional Head O
ce, make a written complaint mentioning rules,must take complaint no. and again verify after few days about penalties.D. No reply, No action at this stage then write to LPG Company's Head O
