There is many confusion in scientific terms: the electrical poles are positive and negative; the magnetic poles are north and south. They cannot be exchanged or assimilate.

Quantum physics aims the behavior of energy and matter that predominate at the atomic and subatomic scales. Still the Mechanical physics is possible: a car suffers every day the effects (large scales). Brain, Source of Bio EMF? Maybe it will be a trouble with magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), or nuclear magnetic resonance imaging (NMRI). It is not possible enter with metals, magnets...

I agree, an energy field: where a particle experiences a force. If a human experiences a force, the human is inside an energy field. There are several kinds: electrical, magnetic, gravitational... But only a charged particle experiences a force into an EM Field. A charged particle moves, it is created a MF. A MF creates a EF. A EF creates a MF. But a charged particle stops; it is electrostatics.
