The National Aeronautics and Space Administration
will
launch Gemini

and
its
Agena Target Vehicle no
earlier
than Sept.
9
from
Kennedy Space Center,
Fla.
Thethree-day mission
will
include rendezvous anddocking
with
the Agena during the spacecraft's initialrevolution, use of
a
power tool to perform
work
tasks
duringextravehicular activity, and maneuvering the spacecraft toan apogee
of
865
miles,
Other
activities
to
be
performed
as
time
and propellantallow
are
station-keeping
by
tethering
the
spacecraft to
the
Agena, completion
of
12
experiments,
some
of which
will
be
conducted
during
a
mcx~
han
two-hour standup
EVA,
andadditional docking practice.The controlled reentry
will
be
hllg
automatic. Reentrycontrol commands
