But the precipitation chart is one sided, where as the0-.49 had most of the days. Both the width and midpoints are different.Section 2-3: Page 55, problem 14

Looking at the shape of the histogram it is close enough to a bell shape that I would consider it“normal”Section 3-2: Page 88, problem 14The total of all ages are 213 eastbound, 295 west bound, dividing both of these by the number of variables (10) gives us 21.3 and 29.5 respectfully. Thus our means are found.The median (which is the “middle value”) was determined be finding the center values of thisgroup of ten in numerical order giving us 20 and 24-26 respectfully.Based on both means and median it seems that the west bound stowaways are older.Section 3-3: Page 106, problem 14
