Aghanistan: Ending a Failed Military Strategy
September 11th Families or Peaceul Tomorrows is an organization ounded byamily members o 9/11 victims who have joined together to transorm our grieinto action or peace and justice. Twice nominated or the Nobel Peace Prize,Peaceul Tomorrows opposed US military action in Aghanistan rom its inception. We have sent delegations o 9/11 amily members to Aghanistan to meet with Aghan civilians harmed by US military action and to educate the US public andpolicy makers about the true costs o war. By advocating nonviolent responsesto terrorism and war, we work to break the cycles o violence that harm ordinarypeople in the US, Aghanistan, Iraq and around the world. We present this primer as a resource to alll those concerned about the situation in Aghanistan. We hope this can be a starting point or discussion about creating animproved US strategy in Aghanistan.
