(RCH) 2AbstractEvery health care organization provides and ensures their patients of rights and privacy,review of patient information and what is known and public, right of clear defined, presentedinformation made available, regarding patient information and laws, right to correct, add to, butnot to erase information, the right to block certain access to health information, the right to knowwho has the right to access, such as government organizations, and why, right to protect privateinformation from third parties, and responsibility in which to do so, and rights from“unauthorized modification and destruction”. (CAL HIPAA, LLC., 2008).Original ReasonIt was put in place for patients to protect, understand, and explain their rights as a patient,and assure that working Americans who had, or still have health insurance coverage while duringor in between employment, would not have to become eligible all over again for their preexistingconditions, the plan would cover a no waiting period, for health care for already diagnosed andconstant treated chronic problems or disease, so the employee would still be able to get healthcare even if they had a change in jobs, and resume proper treatment. HIPPA Health InsurancePortability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) was proposed and implemented in 1996 byCongress. “
