5 Steps to a Successful Website
Here are the 5 Steps to a Successful Website. Follow these and you'll beahead of 95% of most websites out there. They are (in this order):
1. Measure
On the web - you DON'T guess. You Measure, measure, measure.... Take lookat your web stats - and if you havent got stats - get Google Analyticsinstalled!
2. Analyze
Use the information you have from step 1, to analyze and assess what ishappening, or not happening on your site! i.e. Where are people leaving, howlong are they staying, which countries are you getting visitors from etc. Sitdown and get a picture of what's happening on your site.
3. Renovate
If after analyzing things in step 2, you see some alarming trends (like a 80%Bounce rate - that means over 80% of your customer leaving immediatelyfrom your Home Page)..... Fix it! Much like fixing a house - take a look at yoursite and the problem areas, and renovate them. Often changes to a title, anopening paragraph can make the difference. It'll make for a friendlier
