Rainbow
 After it has rained outside, you might see a rainbowin the sky. To see a rainbow,  you need sunshine and rain. The sunshine, or sunlight, appears as white light but itis really made up of all the colors of a rainbow. The sunlight passes through the raindrops and the white light splits apart,forming the seven rainbowcolors! Each color bends, forming an arc... this isthe rainbowthat we see!The seven colors that make up a rainbow are red, orange, yellow, green, blue,indigo,  and violet. They always appear in this order.

 An easy way to remember the order of these colors is to remember this man's name: Roy G. Biv Each of the letters in his name are the same as the first letter of each rainbow color! r red o orange y yellow g green b blueiindigo v violet
