cultureandnatureinthecityofSaskatoon.Weliveinanurbanizingprovinceandarapidlyurbanizing world.Ifweandourchildrenfailtoconnectwithnatureinourdailylives,wemayfailtoconnectwithit anywhere.ThinkwhattheconsequencesofthatlosswouldbeforourselvesandfortheEarth WildAboutSaskatoonintendstoimpassionSaskatoonresidentswiththenaturethatsurroundsthemin thestreets,gardens,parksandbackalleysoftheurbanenvironment.Weplantobeginthisworkby hostingafestivaltocelebrateNatureintheCity,timedtocoincidewiththebloomingofthesaskatoon blossoms.Todothis,weneedyourhelp! ThefestivalwilltakeplacearoundtheweekofMay25toMay31,2013andourgoalistohaveactivities runningthroughouttheweek,ledbymanycitizensandorganizations,exposingasmanycultures,age groups,andareasofthecityaspossible.Thescopeofyourcontributionsislimitedonlybyyour imagination.Themainthingisthatyouparticipate,havefun,andconnectyoureventoractivitytothe cityscapeofSaskatoonandtonature. Examplesinclude,butarenotlimitedto: Naturewalks,Nightwalks,Archeologicaldigs,Outdoorartdisplays,Musicperformance/concert, Poetry/bookreading,Ponddipping,Danceperformance,Craftmaking,Buildingwildlifehouses, Gardeningdemonstration,Localfoodbooth,Cookingdemonstration,Biketour,Sustainableliving workshop,Yogainthepark,Photoworkshop....Andthelistgoeson! Whatweneedfromyou:Your participation! PleaseprovideusdetailsbyJanuary7,2013: 1. Adescriptionofwhatyouoryourorganizationwouldliketodo(canbemultipleevents); 2.
