Maik Awater Production Manager Batcher 1 and 2 (Cutting line)

Sir, This were the changes/modifications done on pumps of both batchers : 1.)Batcher #1 replaced the pulley of pumps shaft (driven) from 230mm outside diameter to 195 mm to speed up and maximize pumping pressure;used same pump motor with 18.5 kw. @ 1460 rpm, also, we use existing pulley (driver) of motor with 230 mm outside diameter. 2.)Batcher #2 changed pump motor from 15 kw to 20 kw @1420 rpm;replaced also the pulley of pumps shaft (driven) from 230mm outside diameter to 195 mm to speed up pumping pressure. Note : Before both pump pulleys outside diameter was 230 mm. DISTANCE MOVED BY MOTOR(DRIVER) PULLEY = 230 = 1.179 OR 1 : 1.179 DISTANCE MOVED BY PUMP(DRIVEN) PULLEY 195 DRIVER : DRIVEN SPEED OF ROTATION OF DRIVEN PULLEY = RPM OF DRVER PULLEY x 1.179 FOR BATCHER # 1 = 1460 x 1.179 = 1721.34 rpm of driven pulley FOR BATCHER #2 = 1420 x 1.179 = 1674.18 rpm of driven pulley
