The origin of the word stress is not exactly known however it is derived from the Latin word" Stringere"which is means hardship, adversity. This stress was much popular during seventeen century confined tohardship, later in eighteenth and nineteenth centuries to denote force, pressure, strain or strong effortin relation to an object or person. The level of stress is of paramount important to the individual as wellas society as whole.
