GlencoeLive Nativity
he Nativity of Jesus Christ is coming to life at Oak Leaf Park this Christmas Season! The GlencoeArea Chamber of Commerce is teaming up with local churches to put a visual with the Christmasstory that we so often only hear.Mary & Joseph, angels, animals, lights, music and more will warm your hearts in the chilly air of De-cember 15, 2012. That evening, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., we hope to have people from all over thecounty and beyond to “come and see this thing that has come to pass” with the excitement of the firstshepherds who saw the Christ Child. Although, the original shepherds walked to see the birth of Jesus. For this Live Nativity, we encourage people to drive, stay warm and be comfortable. But, it’s not allabout comfort. In the spirit of giving, guests are asked to share their blessings by bringing a donation orfood item for the McLeod Emergency Food Shelf.
