5g Double Knitting (DK) yarn
 
Yarn needle
 
Scissors
Cap
Cast on 241-6. (Begin with Knit) st-st 6 rows7. *K2tog, k4* along (20sts)8. *p2tog, p3* along (16sts)9. *k2tog, k2* along (12sts)10. *p2tog, p1* along (8sts)11. *k2tog* along (4sts)Cut yarn, leaving a long tail. Draw tailthrough remaining stitches and pull tightlyand secure. Weave in any loose ends.
Brim
Pick up 11sts from the front middle at thebottom of the cap piece1-4. Garter stitch 4 rows5. *K2tog* 5 times, k1 (6sts)6. *K2tog* along (3st)Cut yarn, leaving a long tail. Draw tailthrough remaining stitches and pull tightlyand secure. Weave in any loose ends.
