ow can we understand the “words of God”(Numbers 24:4)? How do letters on paper, whenread, become thoughts in our minds? How does the mind function? How do we learn, think and understand? Brainresearchers call it ‘cognitive function.’ To discover theanswers, it would be best to examine
how
God, the creator of the mind, teaches us and communicates with us throughhis word. The “holy scriptures” and the Saviour bear thesame name:
The Word of God
(Rev. 19:13). He alsocalls himself the “Alpha and Omega,” which are “the beginning and the ending”
letters
which encompass theGreek alphabet. God identifies himself with words, whichare made up of letters. His revelation of himself to man alsotakes this form
