Dear Teacher Education Programs Committee,

I am writing to apply for the Teacher Education Program in the spring of 2013 to further my Elementary Education degree at Boise State University.

I would like to be considered for the Teacher Education Program at Boise State so that I may become the best teacher I can be. I know that there are few who get into the program, but I assure you that I will work my hardest and try my best throughout the entire process. I have done my research on the program and I know that it is one of the best out there. If I am granted into the program, it would benefit me in my future career. If I am granted an interview, I will not fail. I will work toward being the best teacher I can be and I would excel in all of my upper-division education classes. I believe I was born to be a teacher; it is something that has been vested deep inside me, since I was a little girl.

Reasons to consider me: I have a passion for teaching the young I have a natural magnet toward children

I work hard to achieve my goals I believe that Idaho could use a teacher like me and I have a very different approach to teaching I like to think outside the box and can bring new, refreshing ideas to education and to classrooms I have been working with children since I was very young myself My passion for teaching has grown throughout my college experience and has made me excited about the future I take up as many opportunities to work with the young as possible Many of the teachers I have worked with in the schools around Boise would recommend me, as well as my instructors from my classes taken while attending college

I would lastly like to thank you for taking the time to go through my application, for reading this, and also to thank you for your time. If I am considered, I would be honored and would not let you down or make you reconsider your choice. I can bring some new, fresh ideas into the world of education and I would create a structured, fun learning environment for students of all ages. I would be grateful for a chance to show you what I can do. I would like the opportunity to have something big to work toward and I truly believe that I was born to teach, to lead, and to give students the structure they need in an ever-growing world.
