SPACEPLACE : Art in the Age of Orbitization directed by Pfor. Philp Pocock with 4 former Pforzheim art and design students - Axel Heide, Heiko Hoos and Onesandzeros - along with sculptor Gregor Stehle with consultation from Prof. Peter Weibel was produced with funding from ZKMax, the City of Munich and ZKM Center for Art and Media Technology

SPACEPLACE opened for a 7-month run at the 24-hour access public art space ZKMax Maximillian St. downtown Munich, presenting the public with an opportunity to access and control, even upload photos with their mobile phones to a growing archive o at and other cultural productions concerning the peaceful and cultural use of Outer Space.

SPACEPLACE a public participatory, locative and futuristic virtual curatorial project opened in Munich the day the UN met in Vienna 9 June 2006 to discuss the militarization of space issue and generate peaceful and cultural ideas for the ISS and near Earthorbit in general.

SPACEPLACE was also installed in the ZKM YOU_ser : The Century of the Consumer exhibition 2007-9, and Philip Pocock presented and lectured concerning the expanded field of Space Art, virtual, participatory museums and mobile media at the German specially-funded Technical University of Karslrhue on the occasion of its Computer Science Year event that examind future uses of computer science in social and cultural contexts 2006, as well as at the international Imagining Out Space conference at the Center for Insterdicsiplinary Study Bielefeld Germany 2008.
