in early game it's good for "surprising" hungry enemies who run under your tower or as afollow-up disable to kill a hero. As it has a short range you cannot really rely on it until you get ahigher MS compared to your enemies and/or lvl3 ulti for the slow (and sange).

use level1 EDF for pushing or laning purposes. Corrosive attack is really great againsttowers, while the ranged attack allows you to grab some last hits in tough lanes or harass anopponent out of your lane if it was equal till then. Level2 EDF is mainly good for farming, notthat bad in team fights either if your opponents are staying too near to each other, but otherwiseit's not that wow. The MS bonus comes useful though. Level3 EDF is the crazy shit. You caneasily chase down anybody with just Treads, not to mention the S&Y build. >_< It should be
