Health Canada seeks private discussions with CanWEA prior to announcement of Health Study

Federal Access to Information documents reveal that on May 3, 2012 members of Health Canada's Wind Turbine Noise and Health Study contacted the Canadian Wind Energy Association (CanWEA) to solicit a meeting and discuss the yet to be announced Health Canada led study investigating the health impacts of wind turbines. Health Canadas initiative to seek a meeting with CanWEA occurred over two months before the Canadian public were advised on July 10, 2012 of Health Canada's Wind Turbine Noise and Health Study.
