The Lady Eagles will go into the2012-2013 season with an experi-enced group. The Lady Eagles were runner upin their district with a young groupof girls. With the departure of ourlone senior Krysta Kjerstad, we arelooking to have a good year. Wewill still be young and will playthat way at times, but as the sea-son goes along and we mature welook to be playing our best ballcome tourney time.We should have a quick teamthis year and will try to get out andrun as much as we can. We look todo a lot of full defense with ourquickness.Returning for the Lady Eaglesare: Autumn Schulz, a 5’9” seniorwho averages 13.3 points per gameand eight rebounds per game.Last season she was asked to carrythe load for us, this season we willrely on her experience to lead theLady Eagles on and off the floor.Sadie O’Rourke a 5’7” junioraverages 10.9 points per game.Sadie is a spark plug. She is agood defender and makes thingstough on opposing teams pointguards. She can be an explosivescorer and will need to step up andhave some big games for us.Kaitlin Schreiber is a 5’8” juniorand averages 3.2 points per gameand 4.5 rebounds per game.Kaitlin is an active player with anice touch from the outside. She isa hard worker and will need to stepinto a leadership role.Bailey Lytle is a 5’3” senior.Bailey is a very smart player andwill need to have a strong off sea-son to step up for us.Carlee Johnston is a 5’5” sopho-more and averages 4.1 points pergame and 4.0 rebounds per game.Carlee is a very athletic and quickball player. She has grown a lot asa freshman and will look to have agood season for us next season.Tayah Huether is a 5’6” sopho-more. Tayah is a smart and hardworking ball player. She will giveus good minutes this season.Josie Blasius a 5’7” freshman, averages 3.6 points per game.Josie played very well for us as aneighth grader last season.Emily Linn is a 5’6” sophomore.Emily is a talented, quick playerthat will see the floor this season. She will be handling some of thepoint guard duties. She sees thefloor extremely well.Monica Bielmaier is a 5’9” fresh-man. Monica is an up and comer. She has a good work ethic and islooking to spread the floor withher outside shooting. The Lady Eagles will look to becompetitive every game this sea-son and will look to keep improv-ing and be playing our best ballcome the end of the year.
