Family Connection of Easton, Inc.
Family Connection of Easton
has been the Family Center in the Easton Area SchoolDistrict since 1998. We help students be successful in school by developingpositive family-school-community relationships; supporting and engaging families;removingbarriers to learning; and providing extra learning opportunities.
Our Vision:

Our Mission:
Family Connection is a catalyst for change within families, schools,and communities.

Dear Friends,I am pleased to report on the wonderful happenings at Family Connection of Easton. In my first year asExecutive Director, I am so proud to be a part of an organization that does so much for our community. Wecouldn’t do it without our dedicated staff and all of our wonderful volunteers and partners, namely the Easton AreaSchool District and the United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley. For a full list of all of our supporters & partners,please see page 10 of this report.Highlights from the past year include:
Reaching approximately 750 children & their families through referrals or program services;
Providing family support and case management to over 250 families, helping them save $176,500 byincreasing utilization of public and community services;
Providing after school academic support for 105 students;
Conducting 1,000 educational home visits with preschool aged children;
Providing over 100 holiday meals & distributing 250 holiday gifts to families in need;
Hosting Kindergarten transition visits for 120 preschool students; and
Providing parenting education workshops for 13 familiesFamily Connection also held the 2nd Annual Cook With A Book dinner event and participated in the HighmarkWalk for a Healthy Community. Planning is already underway to once again hold these fun-filled events in thecoming year!We are so thankful for our great supporters who ensure that these quality programs will continue to enrich thelives of children and families in the Easton Area School District.
