You are on page 1of 2

Just visitin-1 So she sits here in the art school library and starts a new art project.

She will type one page each day and number it. She scratches her chin, she ponders. Apparently she should use better words to describe the project. Accurate ones, coherent ones, words that manage to capture the essence of the art project. She will produce one page per day. So much is clear, though it is not quite clear if she will write one page each and every day from today forward. Btw, today is December 6, 2012. I the end, she will pin the texts on a wall, like the images in an exhibition. Except that it will be texts. Not drawings, not paintings. Just eight and a half by eleven sheets of paper with lines thereon. Mostly black letters on white, mostly in English. She ponders, the wall could be black, the white pieces of paper would contrast. A gallery does not have to be a white cube. Could be a black cube or a red one, for that matter. Or not a cube @ all. What is the form of the serpentine gallery in the UK? She ponders, this here is the library of the art school she went 2. Her alma mater. Hmm. She does not make money with her art. She makes unmarketable art. Hmm. Comes with the field. NOT. Outside rain, it is Vancouver, after all. The page is slowly moving forward. Yesterday was the prank of two Australian DJs who impersonated the Queen of England and Prince Charles. Funny stuff, huh. She ponders, shoulD she spellcheck this or are orthographical errors more artsy? SHOULD SHE INSERT A PAGENUMBER or not? Then all her pages would be numbered ONE. Would that fly, could it? Hmm. End of page, end of page.
