Description

Reliance prides itself on outstanding customer service.

We respond quickly to client’s questions. Our goal at Reliance is a 24 hour turnaround on tax questions and a three day turnaround on tax returns (for corporate and drop off individual returns). We strive to stay current on all tax laws so that your tax returns are prepared accurately and no legal deduction is missed.

Reliance offers its clients flexibility

Reliance will prepare your individual tax return while you wait. Clients can also drop off individual tax returns and have their returns prepared within three business days. Tax return information can also be mailed to our office. For the 2009 tax year, we are anticipating that clients will have the option of entering their tax information online (in a secured on-line portal).

In terms of payment, as a service to our clients, we accept all major credit cards (which is fairly unusual for a public accounting form)

The key to any service organization is its employees. Our employees have a wide range of accounting and financial experience:

Marty Staniszewski (President of Reliance since 2005) was the former Chief Financial Officer of Acme Packaging Corporation, a $120 million manufacturer of steel strapping and related products. Marty is a Certified Pubic Accountant (CPA) as well as Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA). He received an MBA from Northern Illinois University, and a Master in Taxation (MST) from DePaul University. Marty is a member of the Illinois CPA Society and the National Association of Valuation Consultants (NACVA) and has over 20 years of accounting and finance experience including several years of “big four” experience at Peat Marwick (KPMG) and Coopers & Lybrand (PriceWaterhouseCoopers)

Kim Maka (Independent Contractor) – is an Enrolled Agent (EA) who has over 10 years of small public accounting experience. Kim is QuickBooks Certified and very proficient in Quicken and other financial software products. Kim has a great deal of experience in preparing tax returns and financial statements for all types of businesses and entities.
