Why should I login/register?
In order to make full use of the website services you must first registerwith your local territory website. If you use the website as anunregistered user you will not experience the full range of our onlineservices such as clip bins and download facilities so don’t hesitate.
Do you have any search tips?
 The following are
 
some of the tips you may find useful as you use ourFootage Search Engine:
 Try both singular and plural versions e.g. ‘Lion’ and ‘Lions’, as itmay return extra results.
Start with a wide search and then simplify your search criteria.Keep in mind that the broader your search, the greater thenumber of results. In general, the fewer words you enter in thesearch box, the greater the number of results.
 Type in the
entire
word or words you are searching for.
Has the word(s) you searched for brought up (no) zeroresults? You might want to check your spelling and try again. Orcontact us
Looking for HD footage? Simply check the tick box next to thesearch field to only show HD clips.

How can I manage my own clipbins
?Our ClipBin service lists all your clipbin names in a column down theright hand side of your screen. You can Create, Expand, add aDescription, Email or Delete the ClipBin.
Why should I create a new clipbin?
IF you create this at the start of your search and name the clip binappropriately, you can view all your search results in one area.
 
What does "order clipbin" mean?
Using this function means you can order the footage within thatparticular clipbin as this function sends your clipbin direct to our salesteam
What does clipbin description mean?
 This function allows you to add comments to your clipbin
Can I email my clipbin?
 Yes, you can email
 
your selected clips to your colleague or client!! Therecipient will receive a URL via email that will direct them to theclipbin. You also have the option of including a personalized message.
Is there a limit or time restriction on my clipbin area?
 You can put as many clips in each clipbin as you want and the clipbinwill stay active and include the clips as long as the content stays liveon our website.
What else can I do with my online clip bin service?
Once you expand each clipbin, there are also options for each clipwithin it. This includes the following:

How do I download preview clips?
 You can download preview clips by simply clicking on the previewthumbnail to open up the preview window then right clicking on thelink that says ‘Download clip’ and selecting ‘Save Target As’. Thedownloaded clip will be medium or low res. according to the option youhave selected for previewing. The majority of preview clips arepurchased as seen; there are some clips, however, which have beenshortened for preview purposes.Contact usfor further information
How do I order?
Most master requests are supplied as digital files (Pal, NTSC or HD) andusually delivered via FTP within 24 hrs of your order. SF master tapesare stored in our UK facility so majority of video sub-master requestscan be serviced within 24hours for UK customers, or within 48 hrs forinternational clients.
 
 
Can I view the content offline?
Screener tapes and DVDs can be ordered for a very reasonable fee.Price depends on the number of clips requested.
How can I order?
Ordering clips is easy; simply email your requested clip(s) via thewebsite or call the footage sales team with your request.
How do I pay?
Payment is in advance via credit card or you can apply for a tradingaccount by following the links on the website
What Formats are available?
Our footage can be ordered on Digital Beta, Quicktime, MPEG1, MPEG2, AVI DV, in a variety of sizes and compressions, delivered on DVD orthrough our FTP site. Other formats are available on request includingHD master material where applicable. Please contact your local footageteam if you have an HD query. All footage can be provided in PALand/or NTSC.
How do I license?
Our collection consists of rights-managed footage, which is licensed forspecific usages. If you inform us as to how, where, and to what extentyou would like to use selected clips then we will grant a licence for thatusage. Unless otherwise stated the majority of licences are for a single-edit of one production only (one off single edit production). However,all licences are tailored to the individual client and their needs.  To allow you more flexibility in your edit, we can order a selection of footage on your sub-master and we will only charge a licence fee forthe material used in your final edit. Please note that if no PhotolibraryGroup footage is used in the final edit an administration fee will bepayable - see our Terms and Conditions
How much does the footage cost
Fees for licensing footage are based on project type, media, marketand term.Contact your local footage teamto find the exact fee foryour project. All jobs and quotes are tailored to each customer andtheir specific needs so we are confident our footage will fit your budget
How should I credit the footage?
We insist on a credit if Oxford Scientific (OSF)/ Photolibrary Group Ltdfootage makes up more than 10% of a production (this does not applyto TV idents or TV and cinema commercials). On occasions whereOxford Scientific (OSF) footage makes up less than 10% of aproduction, and where other productions are credited, we also insist on
