Set up in 1997 to delve deeper into the realms of undergroundtechno, 4D was created to take dancefloor soundscapes to anew level. With their joint understanding of the dancefloor anddesire to go even further with production techniques, Grantand James have developed a sound that is impossible tocategorise. Hypnotic, deep, driving, subtle yet always musical,are some of the distinctions made. Their main aim is to alwaystake the listener on a journey deep inside of the machine andto push the boundaries of what constitutes electronic musicand the listening experience.
They have had releases on labelssuch as Iboga, Flow, Flying Rhino, and have recently set uptheir own new digital label: 4Digital Audio.

Ignorant Fairy is the DJ/production project of Ed Hill, one of the founding members of the Furthur Project. Edhas always looked to remain two steps ahead of the rest of the game, embracing the latest technology andsounds to expand his sets. Testament to this pioneering attitude is the fact that he has twice finished runnerup in the IDJ Raw Talent competition out of a pool of tens of thousands of entries. His production skills arealso starting to get noticed and draw huge acclaim, he will be releasing music over the coming months with4DigitalAudio (the new digital label from ex-Flying Rhino heads Grant Collins and James Monro) and, of course,on Furthur Project Recordings. He also has some exciting new collaboration projects on the horizon with GrantCollins, and as Dog Soldiers with Roobix Q-Bit. Algy Strutt is a DJ that never fails to demand your attention. His sheer dedication to the trade is bornout of an unparalleled love for electronic music; so much to say it is highly unlikely that Beatportknows of a better customer! His unique attention to detail really shines forth in his sets, which pull theaudience through the full spectrum of genres intelligently and with a skilled precision that is alwaysaware of the wants and demands of the crowd. Algy is also an extremely talented photographer andgraphic designer responsible for many of the amazing graphics at Furthur Project HQ. He helped tofound and establish the company and will be releasing his first compilation on Furthur ProjectRecordings just in time for the summer of 2009.
