Lesson Objectives : PRE-PLANNING Students will be able to describe people, things, and peoples feelings in written and oral forms using adjectives ending in ing and ed. They will also be able to number past events using sequencing words in written and oral form Assessment: The students will answer questions about a short movie Materials -Whiteboard -students book -workbook

Objectives ( 5 min) The teacher writes in the whiteboard the title talking about the past and explains that we are going to talk about past events and number what happen first and so on. The teacher also explains that they are going to describe people and peoples feelings. Warm up (10 min) The teacher will ask the students to remember vocabulary that we use in the past and gives as a example yesterday and asks a student to say what he/she did yesterday. The teacher elicits information about what he/she did first, second and after that, etc. The teacher also recycles adjectives ending in ing and ed from previous units and gives 2 examples of each

PRESENTATION ( 30 min) The teacher asks the student to read the text world tour service and to answer 2 questions relating to the text afterwards. Then, the teacher asks the students to read again but they now have to recognize the verbs in past tense. After that the teacher recycles content from previous units about irregular and regular verbs. GUIDED PRACTICE (30 mints) The teacher and the students complete activity B in page 98 saying the answers aloud. Then, the teacher asks the students to work in pairs and complete activity C in page 98. The whole class along with the teacher check the answers INDEPENDENT PRACTICE (20 min) The teacher tells the student that they are going to watch a short film about how babies are born in a funny way and that they are going to complete a fill in the gaps activity right after it. After finishing the video, the teacher show the slides and the student fill in the gaps in their copybooks. The activity is revised afterwards Summarizing and reflecting ( 10 min) The teacher will pick a student to answer some questions at the end of the activities.
