Synergy is also created through use of simple style and fairly plain panels.

This means that the images or writing on the panels is paid more attention to. And means that regardless of the lack of a real logo design the plain design of the digipack means that the bands name is highly noticeable and notable for the audience members.

The band also, across the digipack use the theme of food, as shown by the egg (being broken) and the pizza under the bands faces on the disk. This use of imagery creates an almost icon for the bands album of destruction (the egg) and cycles (the pizza). It also aids the band in creating a united identity and a consistent one.

The Yeah Yeah Yeahs create a sense of synergy across their digipack by using a very consistent colour scheme. For example across the panels they consistently make use of whites, greys, back and red. This helps the band to better create a sense of identity.

The composition of the bands faces on this CD is interesting in that the only band member fully facing us is one of the musicians rather than the lead singer. However the member facing us also has his eyes closed which removes a sense of direct address.

This also shows the band members however for this digipack they feature ion the back cover of the case . The band members here are all shown equally, they have been given an equal amount of space and also all wear similar colours whilst also having the same purple filter over the image. The photos used help to create a united identity and show an almost united front created by the band.

This digipack creates a clear theme/identity for the band and this therefore helps to suggest the bands intentions/ideals. This band is showing a very straightforward presentation of themselves and suggest that as a band they are on the whole very intent and focused on the music being as good as they can get it and being the best that it can be for the fans. We can see this through the digipack as they are showing a presentation of themselves which is very simplistic and showcases the bands want for recognition not as a result of being over the top but instead as a result of actual musical talent and merits.

This makes use of pale purple tones coupled with silver black and a contrasting orange. This creates a synergistic image as the colour across the digipack is consistent and well established. The used of these particular colours creates an identity which is soothing and calm yet with a spark still, a certain element that means they will always stand out and be noticeable even if only in a subtle way.

This digipack does feature a logo but its only a small one that adds to the air of simplicity that the band is creating. The logo is merely used in this case to ensure that fans will recognise the album as one of theirs and helps to create their sense of band identity.
