Chaplet of the Savior

Chaplet of the Savior

Ratings: (0)|Views: 1 |Likes:
Published by Samuel L. Edwards
This is a chaplet using a standard (Dominican) rosary, differing from the usual system in that the prayer Salvator mundi (O Savior of the world) is used for the decades instead of the Ave Maria. The mysteries are essentially the same as those in the rosary of our Lady. Some may find it an aid in meditating on the life and death of the Lord, especially during Lent and Holy Week.

who for us became obedient unto death, even thedeath of the cross:
Let us pray. Lord Jesus Christ, who didst stretchout thine arms of love on the hard wood of thecross that everyone might come within reach of thy saving embrace: so clothe us in thy Spiritthat we, reaching forth our hands in love, may bring those who do not know thee to theknowledge and love of thee; for the honor of thy Name, who livest and reignest with the Father and the same Holy Spirit, one God, for ever andever.
 Amen.
