CjenSite Owner Posts: 237Sorry I have been out of town and my internet is currently down at home.If you are not using a usb wireless card, vmware will not pick it up.So what you would want to download Backtrack 5r2 ((ISO)) not Vmware IMGGo here:http://www.backtrack-linux.org/downloads/
;Your dont have to sign up just keep clicking "No Thanks" then get ether 32 bit or 64 bit and Gnome. If your pc is dual or more core get 64bit.Burn the ISO to a blank DVD.Restart your pc and boot off the cd.Next you want to select the first selection.Just install backtrack. After you reboot you with see a boot menu.Click the first Linux. Then Log into backtrack like you would with Vmware. If your card reads it may say unknown but it should still work.I have a RTL8188CE and it comes up Unknown, but it does work.If it still doesnt work.
Goto Backtrack and see what cards they are compatible.Good luck. If you need anything else just ask.
--
